Wysoki Bór [vɨˈsɔki ˈbur] (German: Hohenwalde) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Tolkmicko, within Elbląg County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Tolkmicko, 25 km (16 mi) north of Elbląg, and 86 km (53 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
