XHPR-FM in Veracruz, Veracruz is a Mexican radio station owned by Grupo FM and broadcasting on 101.7 MHz. It is known as Soy FM 101.7.
History
XHPR began operations on 101.3 MHz sometime after receiving its concession in 1965. It was owned by Emmy Pinto Reyes, who also obtained the original concession for XHEM-FM in Ciudad Juárez. However, Grupo FM has operated the station for most of its history.
The station moved to 101.7 MHz in 2003 (though authorization was given in May 2005)[2] in order to avoid interference to other radio stations.
