Xceed Financial Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union and financial institution serving Xerox, OfficeMax, Seneca Park Zoo, Heal the Bay, Webster Public Library, more than 200 additional select employer groups (SEGs), organizations, and communities nationwide. It currently has 13 Financial Centers in five states.

Member savings at Xceed Financial Credit Union are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government, up to $250,000 per account, through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). This level of insurance protection is permanently established under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, signed into law July 21, 2010.[1]

As a federally chartered credit union, Xceed Financial Credit Union is governed by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the federal agency responsible for regulating federal credit unions.

History

Xceed Financial Credit Union started in 1964 as Scientific Data Systems Credit Union and became Xerox Federal Credit Union in 1970. In April, 2008, the credit union changed its name to Xceed Financial Credit Union, and is typically referred to as Xceed or Xceed Financial. It has $1 billion in assets under management and approximately 67,000 members.[2]
