Laura Ximena Zamora Moreano (born September 25, 1985 in Quito) is an Ecuadorian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Ecuador and represented her country in Miss Universe 2005.

An architecture student, Zamora was crowned Miss Ecuador 2005 in March 2005.[1]

Social work

As Miss Ecuador, Zamora visited the center for children with disabilities "Despertar de los Angeles" in Riobamba. Invited by the Mayor, she participated in the traditional parade of El Rodeo.[2]

On August 10, 2005, she visited Los Angeles and was part of the Ecuadorian delegation that saw the mayor of Los Angeles make the proclamation of the week for Ecuador. She traveled to LA invited by the Community of Ecuadorians living in Los Angeles.[2]

She also visited the cities of Cuenca, Tena, Latacunga, Riobamba, Guayaquil, Loja, Macas, Quito, Machala, Manta, Ambato Pujilí, Otavalo, Sto. Domingo, La Libertad, Milagro, Tosagua, Salasacas, Bathrooms, Misahualli, Puerto Lopez and Isla de la Plata as part of her duties as Miss Ecuador.[2]
