Yahotyn (Ukrainian: Яготин) is a city in Kiev Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It serves as the administrative centre of Yahotyn Raion. Population: 20,445 (2013 est.)[1]. In 2001, population was 23,659. In 2015, the population was 20, 232. [2]
The village of Dvirkivschyna in Yahotyn Raion is birthplace to famous football player Andriy Shevchenko, who attended sports-school in Yahotyn.
