Yasid (Arabic: ياصيد) is a Palestinian town in the Nablus Governorate in northern West Bank, located 15 kilometers northeast of Nablus. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 2,291 inhabitants in mid-year 2006.[1]

History

According to the 1931 census, taken by the British Mandate of Palestine authorities, Yasid had 67 occupied houses and a population of 369 Muslims and 3 Christians.[2]
