Yousuf Ayub Khan

Yousuf Ayub Khan (born 1961)(Lang-Ur: ) is a Pakistani politician and businessman.[1] He is a grandson of former military dictator and president Field Marshal Mohammad Ayub Khan .

Yousuf Ayub was born in village Rehana[2] in Haripur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. His father was Mr Shaukat Ayub, son of late Ayub Khan and brother of politician Gohar Ayub Khan . He is a Hindkowan of the Tareen tribe.[3] He was educated at the Army Burn Hall College, Abbottabad, Pakistan, passing high school.[4]

He won several elections in the past and also remained a provincial minister, but in 2013 he was disqualified by a court, due to presenting a fake degree as a qualification.[5] Allegations of corruption in awarding government tenders have also been leveled against him in the press.[6]

Khan has changed parties several times and is at this moment a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, although his status within this party also seems rather dubious following his 2015 volte face.[7] He has been recently viewed as either 'mentally deranged' [8] or a conniver of the highest order.[9]
