Yumoto Station (湯本駅 Yumoto-eki) is a JR East railway station located in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.

Yumoto Station is served by the Jōban Line, and is located 201.5 km from the official starting point of the line at Nippori Station.

Yumoto Station has one island platform and one side platform connected to the station building by an overhead passageway. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.

History

Yumoto Station opened on 25 February 1897. The present station building was compleed I March 1967. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987. A new station building was completed in November 2014.
