Yuraqmayu[1] (Quechua yuraq white, mayu river,[2] "white river", hispanicized spelling Yuracmayo) is a river in Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Santa Cruz District.[3] It is a right tributary of the Santa River.

Yuraqmayu originates in the Cordillera Blanca southwest of Tawllirahu, near a lake named Tawlliqucha. It flows through the Santa Cruz gorge from northeast to southwest along the lakes called Hatunqucha and Ichikqucha and the village of Llamacorral, flanked by Pukahirka, Kitarahu and Pukarahu in the north and by Sintiru, Artesonraju and Qaras in the south. Northwest of Pukarahu, near Kashapampa (Cashapampa), it turns to the northwest. The confluence with the Santa River is near Qullqas (Colcas) and Paqamayu (Pacamayo), 140 km before the Santa River reaches the Pacific Ocean.[4]
