Part of the Faroese Lagting, and later Prime Minister of the Faroe Islands from 1608 to 1628.
Zakarias Tormóðsson came from Eiði in the Faroe Islands, where he was a leaseholder on a piece of church land.
Little else is known about Tormóðsson from history.
