Zaman International School (ZIS) is a private multilingual international school in Cambodia's Capital Phnom Penh. The school was founded in 1997 by a former journalist[1] of the Turkish daily Zaman.[2] Internet sources indicate that ZIS is related to the Islamic Gülen Movement.[3]

It offers an education to children from K1 to grade 12. All lessons are taught in English and Khmer. The high school is housed in a newly built and designed building in Tonle Bassac area of Phnom Penh. Students from grade 7 to 12 attend this campus. The Zaman Primary is located in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.

Students get national and international qualifications. Two national exams take place at the 9th and 12th grade levels. For the international part students an go for the Cambridge IGCSE and A level examinations in grades 10 or 11 and 12.

The spokesman for the Cambodian Ministry of Defense General Chhum Socheat said the Turkish schools in his country are functioning as bridges between Turkey and Cambodia.[4]
