Zatyki [zaˈtɨki] (German: Satticken) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south of Gołdap and 132 km (82 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
Zatyki is located between highways 65 and 650. It is within two miles of the following townships: Wilkasy, Nasuty, and Rudzie.
