Zayd ibn al-Khattab
Zayd ibn al-Khaṭṭāb was a Sahabi (companion) of Muḥammad and the elder brother of the second Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattāb, also known as ʾAmīr al-Muʾminīn ("Commander of the Faithful").
In the beginning of battle against Musaylimah, many of the Muslims fell as martyrs. Zaid ibn al-Khattab saw the feelings of horror in the hearts of some Muslims, so he climbed a hill and cried out to the forces: "O people! Grit your teeth, fight your enemy and go straight By Allāh, I'll never speak till Allāh beats them or I meet Him and then I give my evidence."
He then charged against the enemy and continued fighting until he was martyred in the cause of Allāh. His grave was purportedly located just north of modern-day Riyadh until the 18th century when it was levelled to the ground by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, who claimed that it had become an object of idolatry.
