Zhan Bensanovich Beleniuk (Ukrainian: Жан Венсанович Беленюк; born 24 January 1991) is an amateur Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won a gold medal in the 2014 European Wrestling Championships,[1] the 2015 World Wrestling Championships and 2016 European Wrestling Championships.
Beleniuk was born to a Ukrainian mother and Rwanda Hutu father, who died when Zhan was a child, shortly after the 1994 Rwandan Civil War. Zhan began wrestling at age 9 years old.[2]
