ZipRecruiter.com is an online job distribution and job board service.[2] The web-based platform aggregates applications from job boards and provides tools for applicant tracking and screening. It is a subscription-based SaaS for employers, recruiting firms, and staffing agencies. The job board search and application process are free for job seekers.
History
ZipRecruiter is a privately held company based in Santa Monica, California. It was founded in 2010 by Ian Siegel (CEO), Joe Edmonds, Ward Poulos, and Will Redd.[3] The founders previously worked together in various combinations at CitySearch, Rent.com, Stamps.com, Pictage, and ThisNext.[2]
In 2014, ZipRecruiter raised outside money for the first time, with a Series A round worth $63 million.[4]
