Łęczyna [wɛnˈt͡ʂɨna] (German: Lenz Borkenstein) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stara Dąbrowa, within Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Stara Dąbrowa, 12 km (7 mi) north of Stargard Szczeciński, and 33 km (21 mi) east of the regional capital Szczecin.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
