Łukowice Brzeskie [wukɔˈvit͡sɛ ˈbʐɛskʲɛ] (German Laugwitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) west of Skarbimierz, 10 km (6 mi) west of Brzeg, and 46 km (29 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has an approximate population of 654.
