Zwanowice [zvanɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Schwanowitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Skarbimierz, 9 km (6 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 30 km (19 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
