The 1980 Northwestern Wildcats team represented Northwestern University during the 1980 college football season. In their third year under head coach Rick Venturi, the Wildcats compiled a 0–11 record (0–9 against Big Ten Conference opponents) and finished in last place in the Big Ten Conference.[1]

The team's offensive leaders were quarterback Mike Kerrigan with 1,816 passing yards, Jeff Cohn with 503 rushing yards, and Todd Sheets with 570 receiving yards.[2]
