The 1982 Coral UK Championship was a professional non-ranking snooker tournament that took place at the Guild Hall in Preston, England. The event began on 20 November 1982 and the televised stages were shown on BBC between 27 November and 4 December 1982.

Terry Griffiths won his first and only UK Championship by winning the last 3 frames to beat Alex Higgins 16–15. He also beat defending champion Steve Davis, who had beaten him in the previous final on his way to victory. The highest break of the tournament was 137 made by Higgins.
