The 1984 Coral UK Championship was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place at the Guild Hall in Preston, England. The even began on 18 November and the televised stages were shown on BBC between 24 November and 2 December 1984. This was the first UK Championship that all overseas players took part as it also became a ranking event. The highest break of the televised stages was 134 made by Steve Davis and the non-televised stages was 135 made by Jack McLaughlin.

Davis defeated Alex Higgins 16–8 in the final.
