1993–94 Golden State Warriors season
The 1993-94 NBA season was the Warriors' 48th season in the NBA and their 31st season in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] The Warriors selected Anfernee Hardaway with their third pick in the 1993 NBA Draft, but soon traded him to the Orlando Magic for Chris Webber. Despite losing Tim Hardaway and Šarūnas Marčiulionis for the entire season due to injuries, the Warriors finished third in the Pacific Division with a 50-32 record. Webber was named Rookie of the Year, averaging 17.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.2. blocks. Latrell Sprewell made the All-NBA First Team and was selected to play in the 1994 NBA All-Star Game.
In the first round of the playoffs, the Warriors were swept by the Phoenix Suns in three straight games. This would be their final playoff appearance until 2007.
