1999–2000 Golden State Warriors season
The 1999-2000 NBA season was the Warriors' 54th season in the NBA and 38th in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] The city of Oakland hosted the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. Second year star Antawn Jamison was invited to the Slam Dunk Contest, but did not participate due to an injury. At midseason, the Warriors dealt John Starks to the Chicago Bulls.and acquired Larry Hughes from the Philadelphia 76ers in a three team trade. The Warriors struggled and finished sixth in the Pacific Division with a terrible 19-63 record. Following the season, former All-Star Terry Cummings retired.
