The 1998 Sparkassen Cup on Ice was the Sparkassen Cup on Ice Grand Prix competition of the 1998-1999 figure skating season. It was the third event of six in the 1998-1999 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Skaters earned points towards qualifying for the 1998–1999 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 1998, the Sparkassen Cup on Ice was held in the Gelsenkirchen, Germany from November 12 through 15. The event was also known in other years as the Nations Cup and as the Bofrost Cup.
