The Sparkassen Cup on Ice (later Bofrost Cup on Ice) is a figure skating competition which takes place annually in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. It was part of the Grand Prix series until 2002. Figure skaters compete in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing.
The 1999 competition took place between November 11 and 14. It was the third event of the series.
