The 2006-07 New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets season was the team's 5th in the NBA. They began the season hoping to improve upon their 38-44 output from the previous season. They improved by one win, finishing 39-43, but failed to reach the playoffs.[1] This would be the last season of pro-basketball in Oklahoma City before the Seattle SuperSonics relocated there following the 2007–08 season and became the Oklahoma City Thunder.
