2010 FIFA World Cup Group B
Group B of the 2010 FIFA World Cup began on 12 June and ended on 22 June 2010.[1] The group consisted of Argentina, Nigeria, South Korea and Greece.
In the 1986 FIFA World Cup, Argentina and South Korea were in the same Group A; Argentina won 3–1. In the 1994 FIFA World Cup, three of these teams (Argentina, Nigeria, and Greece) were in the same Group D along with Bulgaria. Nigeria, Argentina and Bulgaria qualified for the second round, where Nigeria and Argentina lost their next matches to Italy (2–1) and Romania (3–2), respectively, with Bulgaria reaching the semi-finals. In the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Argentina and Nigeria were both drawn into Group F; Argentina won 1–0, a result that was repeated in 2010.
As group winners, Argentina advanced to face Mexico, the Group A runners-up, while South Korea, who finished as group runners-up, faced Uruguay, who won Group A.

South Korea vs Greece
A free kick near the left corner gave South Korea the early lead with Lee Jung-Soo turning the ball in. This is the fastest goal scored by any South Korean player at the FIFA World Cup. Early in the second half, Loukas Vyntra made a defensive mistake and South Korean captain Park Ji-sung won the ball dribbled all the way to score. Argentina vs Nigeria
Early in the game Juan Sebastián Verón's corner kick was turned in by Gabriel Heinze with a looping header. Heinze's goal is often regarded as one of the tournament's best. Although Argentina came close to scoring on multiple occasions, Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama managed to keep it down to 1-0; he was awarded the Man of the Match award. In spite of that, Argentina held on for a 1-0 victory.
