The 2014–15 Académica da Praia season were in the island division of football (soccer). The club finished 5th after AD Bairro and behind Celtic Praia with 27 points and 16 goals.[1]

The 2014-15 season[2] would start being seventh, they would ranked higher than the city's greatest club Sporting Praia for six weeks and the second greatest CD Travadores throughout the season. The second and third week had their highest ranking of second.

Their first match was a draw with Os Garridos as no goals were scored, their first win was on December 12 against CD Travadores with 3-1. Académica Praia was tied no goals in their second draw with Bairro Craveiro Lopes a week later. Their second win was on January 9 against Celtic. Académica lost to Desportivo Praia on week 5. The next two matches ended in victory against Vitória and Varanda followed by two losses to Sporting Praia and Boavista. Two wins followed for two weeks on February 28, the start of round 2 followed by two additional losses on March 14. The club's third and final draw took place on March 28 with Desportivo and the only ended with a goal. In the final month of the season, two final wins of the season followed on April 3 and 16 and two final losses of the season followed on 19 and 16 of the same month to Sporting and Boavista.[1]
