The 2016 North American League of Legends Championship Series season is the fourth season of the North American League of Legends Championship Series.[1] Like the previous seasons, it will be played in two separate splits, spring and summer. The spring split began on January 16, with a rematch of the 2015 NA LCS Summer playoff finals between Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming.[2] Most matches will be played at a film studio in Sawtelle, Los Angeles, California.

Offseason

Three teams from the previous NA LCS split, Team Coast, Team 8, and Gravity Gaming sold their spots. LA Renegades were the only team from the Challenger Series to become promoted.
