Echo Fox
Echo Fox is a professional esports organization which fields teams in League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The organization was founded after Rick Fox bought the LCS spot of Gravity Gaming for around $1 million USD.[1][2] [3] The organization expanded into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by signing a team called Torqued on January 26, 2016.[4]
Competition
Its League of Legends team will begin competing in the North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) starting in January 2016. As of 1/2/2016 the team finalized its roster of Froggen, Hard, Keith, KFO and Baby.
Its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team will be competing in ELeague with its current roster of sgares, a2z, ryx, roca and ShahZaM. This league is set to begin at an unannounced point in 2016 and will be televised.
Issues
On 1/23/2016, due to some concerns over player work-eligibility, Echo Fox was unable to submit a roster and was required to forfeit[5] their match against NRG eSports.
