ATTRAQT Group plc is a U.K. based organization that provides search and merchandising services to online businesses through a cloud-based Software As A Service (SaaS). It was founded in 2003 by Dan Wagner and André Brown to facilitate sales growth for online retailers by focusing on conversion rates and the use of traditional creative merchandising techniques in the online environment. The company's SaaS platform, Freestyle Merchandising, gives retailers control over how products are merchandised on their e-commerce sites.

In 2014, ATTRAQT became available for trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange,[1] with an initial market capitalisation on Admission of approximately £10.3m,[2] based on a price of 50 pence per Ordinary Share on Admission.

Freestyle Merchandising is platform agnostic and works with most ecommerce platforms including Episerver, Hybris, Magento and Venda. In addition, ATTRAQT has integrated with several email service providers such as Bronto, dotmailer and RedEye; as well as digital catalog provider Yudu Media. The primary country of operation for ATTRAQT is the United Kingdom, with additional offices in the USA.

History

In 2003, André Brown and Dan Wagner founded Locayta, and in early 2014 rebranded as ATTRAQT[3] to recognize the changing business needs and customer requirements.

On 19 August 2014, under advisement by N+1 Singer,[4] the company went public on London's junior stock market with a goal of raising £1.3m on AIM with a valuation of £10.4m in order to fund expansion throughout Europe and America.[5][6] Shares rose to a 7% premium[7][8] on opening day of trading. In December 2014, the company launched a new product called ATTRAQTMail, which enables retailers to merchandise emails in real-time using the company’s visual merchandising platform – Freestyle Merchandising. On 12 June 2015, the company announced a new contract win [9] with Bonmarché, then went on to announce a new contract win with BFashion, a pan-Eastern European multi-channel retailer in July 20145. On 5 August 2015, the company announced a sales and technology partnership with Yudu media to integrate the company’s visual merchandising platform with YUDU’s digital catalog technology - ATTRAQT Investor News.

On 9 September 2015, the company announced its Interim financial results for the 6-months ending June 2015.[10] The highlights were revenue growth of 40% YOY for the half-year,[11] including a 43% growth in recurring revenue and an increase in gross margin to 85%. The company also announced the signing of a new contract with TUMI in the US.[12]

Services

ATTRAQT provides a visual merchandising platform called Freestyle MerchandisingTM Freestyle Merchandising plugs-in to any eCommerce site and takes over the delivery of site search, category pages and product recommendation zones to enable retailers to merchandise more effectively through their own eCommerce sites. The organization provides services to Boohoo and Superdry, as well as other large ecommerce merchants, such as BBC Shop, Ben Sherman, Bonmarché, Cotton Traders, Ellis Brigham, Emma Bridgewater, Fat Face, Heals, JD Williams, Joseph, Kate Spade, Laura Ashley, Lulu Guinness, Paperchase, Screwfix, Tesco Clothing Tesco Clothing, TK Maxx, White Stuff, Wilko and many more.

André Brown is the CEO and co-founder of the company, and has a history of bringing new technologies to market,[13] including taking a key role in the introduction of Adobe Acrobat to the UK as well as providing insight into the current and future status of the e-commerce markets for Susan Aldrich.[14][15]
