Adari is a town and a nagar panchayat in Mau district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Indara junction is the nearest railway station just a side of Adari town & It took place at 6 KM north-east from Mau city on Mau-Madhuban road. consisting 11 wards,Namely 1.लक्ष्मी नगर,2.कान्दू टोला, 3.बाग, 4.कुंवा मस्जिद,5.स्टेशन रोड,6.मोती महल,7.तवंगर खां,8.कोइरी टोला,9.कुडउवां,10.फैजनगर,कोट (मल्दहा). As of 2001 India census,[1] Adari had a population of 12,006. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Adari has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 60% of the males and 40% of females literate. About 22% of the population is under 6 years of age. [2]
