Aegis is a UK financial services trade union. Until 2012 it was an internal staff union of Aegon UK.^[2] The current General Secretary is Brian Linn. In 2014, the unions SURGE and YISA merged into Aegis,^[3] expanding the operation of the union into Skipton Building Society and Yorkshire Building Society as well.
