Akhtachi-ye Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان آختاچي غربي) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 7,899, in 1,452 families.[2] The rural district has 38 villages.
