Kavelan-e Sofla (Persian: كاولان سفلي, also Romanized as Kāvelān-e Soflá; also known as Kāvlān)[1] is a village in Kani Bazar Rural District, Khalifan District, Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 378, in 63 families.[2]
