Aldebaran b is a Hot Jupiter-type gas giant orbiting the orange giant star Aldebaran, 65 light-years away. It was initially detected in 1998, but was considered doubtful until in 2015 a gas giant orbiting Aldebaran, consistent with the original calculations, was discovered through radial velocity.^[1]
