The Arakan Army (Kayin State) (Burmese: ရခိုင်ပြည်တပ်မတော်; AA), also known as the Arakan State Army (ASA), is a Rakhine insurgent group in Kayin State, Myanmar (Burma).[1] The group has attacked Myanmar Army outposts along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, in addition to Bangladeshi border guards.[2]
