Arcanaloth

In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the arcanaloth, or arcanadaemon (/ɑːrˈkænədeɪmən/ ar-KAN-ə-day-mən[1]), is a type of yugoloth.
Publication history
The arcanadaemon first appeared in the first edition Monster Manual II (1983).[2]
The arcanaloth appeared in second edition in the Monstrous Compendium Outer Planes Appendix (1991).[3] The arcanaloth appeared for the Planescape setting in the first Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (1994).[4]
The arcanaloth appeared in the third edition Monster Manual II (2002).[5]
Description
An arcanaloth is one of the jackal-headed scribes, record-keepers, negotiators, and deal-makers of the yugoloths.
