Azerbaijanis in Kyrgyzstan (Azerbaijani: Qırğızıstan azərbaycanlıları) are a Azerbaijani diaspora in Kyrgyzstan, and are Kyrgyz citizens and permanent residents of ethnic Azerbaijani background. Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan took through centuries and both countries used to be the part of Russian Empire and then Soviet Union. Currently there are over 17,267 Azerbaijanis in Kyrgyzstan.[1]
