Babolsar County (Persian: شهرستان بابلسر) is a county on the Caspian Sea, in Mazandaran Province of northern Iran.
Geography
The capital of the county is the coastal city of Babolsar.
The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Rudbast District, and Bahnemir District.
The county has three cities: Babolsar, Kalleh Bast, and Bahnemir.
Population
At the 2006 census, the county's population (including those portions later split off to form Fereydunkenar County) was 172,600, within 46,595 families.
Excluding the Fereydunkenar County portions, the population was 116,545, in 31,546 families.[2]
