Belmont is an unincorporated community in Lisle Township DuPage County, Illinois. Although, it used to be its own separate village, Belmont's town services were discontinued in 1995, leaving it unincorporated. Belmont is a lower-middle class, residential area, in between the neighboring towns of Downers Grove and Lisle. It is a suburb of Chicago. There are three Trailer parks in Belmont, as well as a VFW hall, a gas station, 8 restaurants, a Laundromat and a psychic. Also in the community is the historic Belmont Baptist church, built in 1912. The community does not have a post office, but receives its mail through the VFW hall, through a Downers Grove zip code.
