Bengal Warriors is a Kabaddi team based in Kolkata, West Bengal that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Nilesh Shinde and coached by Pratap Shetty. The team is owned by Future Group and play their home matches at the Netaji Indoor Stadium.

Franchise history

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is a professional kabaddi league in India, based on the format of the Indian Premier League T20 cricket tournament.[1] The first edition of the tournament was played in 2014 with eight franchises representing various cities in India.[2] Bengal Warriors is a Kolkata based franchise owned by Future Group promoted by Kishore Biyani.[3]
