Puneri Paltan is a Kabaddi team based in Pune, Maharashtra that plays in the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Manjeet Chillar and coached by Ashok Shinde.[1] Paltan is owned by Insurekot Sports and play their home matches at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune.

Franchise history

Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is a professional kabaddi league in India, based on the format of the Indian Premier League T20 cricket tournament.[2] The first edition of the tournament was played in 2014 with eight franchises representing various cities in India.[3] Puneri Paltan is a Pune based franchise owned by Insurekot sports.[4]
