Biffant is a Duke of Hell in the service of Dispater, in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game.
Publication history
Biffant first appears in Ed Greenwood's article "The Nine Hells Part I" in Dragon #75 (1983).[1]
Biffant was briefly detailed in Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells (2006).[2]
Description
Biffant appears as a portly devil with diabolic features (except his tail is tufted), and has green eyes, red skin, inward curving horns, and curiously, a permanent smile etched on his face.
Relationships
Biffant is a vassal of Dispater, serving as Dispater's provost, running the affairs of the palace, from its staff, and with Bel and Baalzephon gone, its troops.
