Borun (Persian: برون‎‎, also Romanized as Borūn; also known as Baruq, Borāq, Borveh, and Buruh)[1] is a village and center of Borun Rural District, in the Central District of Ferdows County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 717, in 283 families.[2]
