Brian O'Halloran (hurler)
Brian Thomas O'Halloran (born 17 May 1991[1] in Clashmore, County Waterford), he is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling for his club Clashmore, and football for his club Kinsalebeg.
Life
Minor Intercounty
O'Halloran was part of the minor team who in 2009 won the Munster Final. To get there they first played Clare with O'Halloran contributing 3points of his sides 0–14. Against Limerick in the play offs he scored 1–0 of his sides 4–9 which brought them to the semi final against Clare here they got revenge on Clare and won the game 3–9 : 0–12, O' Halloran scoring 1 goal. In the Munster Final against Tipperary O'Halloran scored 0–1 of his sides 0–18 to 1–13 and Waterford won the Minor Munster Final.
Senior Intercounty
O'Halloran progressed to joining the Waterford Senior Hurling panel in early 2010 but was prevented from playing because he was sitting the Leaving Certificate Examinations. O'Halloran's first game with the senior team came as a substitute appearance in the 2010 Munster Final Replay against Cork. After coming on, he scored a point from play and won a free from which his teammate, Eoin Kelly converted. O'Halloran won his first Senior Munster Medal that day.
Personal life
Brian O'Halloran did his leaving certificate in 2010. His favourite music includes Kings of Leon and The Killers.
