Bridge Road is a major shopping strip in Melbourne, Australia. It is best known for its abundance of clothing factory outlets, which makes it a popular tourist attraction. There are also many stores of up-and-coming local fashion designers.
The City of Yarra town hall and Epworth Hospital are also situated on Bridge Road.
Geography
Bridge Road roughly runs from east-west, in the suburb of Richmond. The road travels from its crossroads with Hoddle Street and Wellington Parade in the west until it branches into Church Street and Burwood Road in the east.
Hawthorn Bridge which bridges the Yarra River is part of this road.
Tram Routes
Tram routes 48 and 75 pass through Bridge Road.
