Brimsdown F.C. are a football club based in Brimsdown, London, founded in 2013. They joined the Spartan South Midlands League upon being founded, and were promoted to Division One (Step 6 of the National League System) at the end of the 2014-15 season.[1] They are seen by many as a successor to Brimsdown Rovers, who folded in 2010 and who also played at Goldsdown Road.

History

Lee Okugbeni, manager of the Kentish Town reserve team, founded an under-18 team for the club in 2012. The following season, the players were ready for adult football and Brimsdown were founded, running six teams down to U15 level.[2]

They struggled in their first season in Spartan South Midlands League Division Two, finishing 13th out of 14 teams. In 2014-15, they finished 4th, and with teams above them failing to meet ground grading requirements, they were promoted to Division One.

During the 2015-16 season the club was taken over by Irfan Davulcular and Alp Ermiya, subsequently the team has been affiliated with Dogan Turk Birligi.
