Briosco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Monza and Brianza in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,676 and an area of 6.6 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).[1]
Under the comune, lie two fraction: Capriano and the hystorical and cultural site of Fornaci. Briosco borders the following municipalities: Inverigo, Veduggio con Colzano, Renate, Besana in Brianza, Giussano, Carate Brianza, Verano Brianza.
