Butterfly (Chinese: 花蝴蝶; pinyin: Huā Hú Dié) is the tenth studio album of Taiwanese female singer Jolin Tsai (Chinese: 蔡依林). It was released on March 27, 2009 by Warner Music Taiwan.[1] It was the best-selling album of 2009 in Taiwan, with 130,000 copies sold in Taiwan and 1.5 million copies sold in Asia.[2] Critics and general public reacted negatively, who commented the album was a "confusing patchwork".[3] The singles, "Butterfly" (花蝴蝶) and "Real Man" (大丈夫), which is the Chinese cover of American boy group Lexington Bridge song "Real Man", were 2009 Hit FM Annual Top 100 Chart number ten and twenty-five singles. The single, "Love Attraction" (愛引力), is the Chinese cover of French singer Vanessa Paradis song "Divine Idylle". The single, "Slow Life" (愈慢愈美麗), is the Chinese cover of Swedish singer Lena Philipsson song "It Hurts". The single, "Hot Winter" (熱冬), is the Chinese cover of German pop group Monrose song "Hot Summer".
